The Junior League of Wilmington, NC is an organization of women committed to promoting volunteerism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. We are a diverse group of women with the common goal of becoming better leaders and volunteers.
Our primary focus is supporting issues that affect the population of the Cape Fear Region every day and require immediate action. Most recently, this has included supporting survivors of human trafficking, providing meals for children living in Wilmington’s food deserts, and working with Plastic Ocean Project. In addition to these direct-impact projects, JLWNC provides financial support to NourishNC and other organizations leading the charge toward social change in our community.
The Junior League of Wilmington, NC is committed to maintaining our promise of good stewardship, which begins with transparency, openness, and a proactive approach to sharing the direct impact of the contributions we receive. Your contribution supports our mission of empowering women to enrich and improve our community through their leadership as trained volunteers.
