On Sunday, October 13, 2024, the Junior League of Wilmington, NC, will hold the 16th annual TOUCH-A-TRUCK® event at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington (UNCW), Hamilton Lot. TOUCH-A-TRUCK® is a unique educational and interactive community event where children of all ages and their families can explore their favorite trucks and vehicles and meet the people who build, protect, and serve our community. The event begins at 11:00 a.m. and will run until 3:00 p.m. The first hour, 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., is horn and light-free for those attending with sensory processing sensitivities. At 12:00 p.m., lights, sirens, and horns are welcome and encouraged. TOUCH-A-TRUCK® is a rain-or-shine event and will be held regardless of the weather unless extreme conditions prohibit doing so. All sales are final.

1. ONLINE TICKET SALES HAVE ENDED! Tickets are $6 each or 4 for $22. Children under 2 are free. You will not receive tickets by email. Upon arrival at the event, please give the Junior League member your name, and they will have a record of your ticket purchase.
2. Raffle Tickets are available for purchase: 1 for $5 or “arm’s length” for $20. These will be available for pick up at the event.
3. Snack Packs are available to purchase in advance: $2 (choice of water/juice and chips/crackers) These will be available for pick up at the event.

Tickets can also be purchased at the door. We accept cash and cashless payment options. Cashless payments will incur a 3% processing fee.
